Wanna One: Wanna Be Loved 1st Fan Meeting in Manila 2017 (Recap)

Annyeong! So I'm back with another Kpop stuff. Just want to share with you guys my 2nd major Kpop event. It's just another recap of an event from last year. It's Wanna One's Wanna Be Loved 1st Fan Meeting in Manila held last October 13th 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

[Official event poster from IME]

Just a little introduction, the group's name is Wanna One and fans like myself are called Wannables. Wanna One was formed through the season 2 of the survival show Produce 101. Most of us have been following them since those days. From the original 101 trainees at the beginning of the show, the final 11 members who will form the group was announced in the finale episode last June 16th 2017. The only sad part is that from the start we knew they won't be a permanent group and their contract will only last for around one year and a half. They officially debuted on August 7th 2017 and will disband in December 2018.

As much as possible, we try not to think too much about the disbandment and just enjoy our remaining days with them. Speaking of which, they will come again here in the Philippines in September 2018 as part of their One: The World tour! This will be their first actual concert here since their previous visit was for a fan meeting. Again, sad to say but this might be the last time. So even if it takes a whole lot, I'm going all out for this as I mentioned in my previous Kpop post. I'm a certified Wannable and I just love my boys all too much. Following their journey, I can't help but feel like a proud mom and all. So really, I would like to support them until the very end. ;)

Okay going back, seeing my boys live for the first time was totally nuts! I can't believe they're actually right in front of my face, although I wasn't exactly in the VIP section last FM (fan meeting). One reason why I'm going for it this time. Plus this will be the last so hopefully I can get the ticket I want. *crossed fingers*

[Before the show. Waiting!]

[Yeppeuda!]

[Wanna One Time]

[Look how far I was! Haha]

Wanna One performed songs from their debut album plus another song from Produce 101. In between, they had some fun activities such as the Wanna One School: PE Class where they actually wore school uniforms! There were also some games and raffle. Message VCRs from Wanna One and Wannables to each other were also shown.

[During Wanna Be (My Baby) performance. As far as I know, this is their song for the fans where they're just having fun and goofing around! Haha]

[Wanna One School: PE Class]

[Final message to Wannables before their last performance. T_T]

[Final performance of Always. So this one is another song for the fans but an emotional one at that. Imma cry when they sing this for the last time before they disband. T_T]

At the end before their final performance, Wanna One was given a customized special cake from Wannables. The food lovers that they are, they ate some of it right away! Haha! Then they also gave their final message to the fans and did a group selca with us. Let's pretend I was included in the selca. But I don't think so. It was too low it probably includes the VIPs only. Psh! Haha! Photo below from IME.

So here's the setlist of their performances as well as the videos I took. I was also able to record videos from the activities they did but I might not get to upload them anymore on my Youtube channel because our internet connection is quite unstable and it's kinda taking too long to upload just one video. I'm sure there are a lot of other videos posted by others already anyway. I only got to upload my videos just recently this July. I just thought it's quite timely since the ticket selling for the concert in September is coming up this July as well. ;)

Performance Setlist:
1. Never
2. Energetic
3. Wanna Be (My Baby)
4. Pick Me
5. Hands on Me
6. Burn It Up (Encore)
7. Always (Encore)

If you want to watch on Youtube, might as well go to this playlist link.

There you have it! During their last performance for Always, we raised our banners provided by Wanna One Philippines. It has a message to Wanna One both written in Hangul (Korean) and in English. The boys actually got a copy too! Imma cry. T_T

Here's the message banner as well as their first official lightstick. First because there's a new one called Nable Bong and it's not that cheap! I just recently bought the new one too but I haven't gotten it yet. Will just update when I get it. But from what I saw online, it's really beautiful so I can't wait! Oh, I also bought a headband at the venue during the FM as well as some other merch. There's a lot of freebies too from the other fans and fansites! Komawo! Thank youuu! ;)

Here's some photos of me and fellow Wannables.

[With my officemate, Mary Ann. She really prepped for this, didn't she? The outfit, boots, and all! She was in the VIP section so I was alone in my seat! Fortunately, I befriended the one beside me and we fangirl-ed our hearts out together! Haha!]

[So this is the fellow fan I befriended at the venue. But I'm really sorry I can't remember her name now since it's been almost a year and we haven't been in contact either. :D]

Selca time...

[After the show! DIY feels! Haha]

[Taken by my new chingu (friend). Yay!]

[Outside the venue. My Archie x Wannable hearteuuu!!! So to give you a hint, my next event is that one on the left! I've been a fan since 2008 but let's save that for next time!]

[My ONGly star! Ne ne, I'm an Ong trash like that! Haha! Ong Seongwu is my main bias but I'm also an OngNiel shipper. OngNiel is Science forever and ever! :D]

Okay so before I end this, here's Wanna One inviting our lovely PH Wannables to come to their show on September 1st 2018 at the MOA Arena!!! OngNielHwi and WinkCloud speaking in English and Tagalog is everything yeoreobun!!! ;)

Tickets go on sale starting July 15th 2018! Save the date! #W1OneTheWorldMNL

Alrighty! I guess that's it for now. Any thoughts, comments or suggestions? Haha! I can't wait for the concert in September and share with you guys just another Kpop experience for me! Until then. Hwaiting! Sending some Korean hearteuuu! ღღღ

P.S. Unless otherwise stated, all photos and videos are taken by me. :)

Much love,
Anne x ;)

Ant-Man and the Wasp (Movie Review~ish)

Hola! What's up? So today I will be sharing with you one of those review~ish I do for things I watch such as the movies. Just -ish because it's not really so much of a review I guess? Haha! And no worries, not really a spoiler either, I hope at least. :)

After so much pondering if I should go watch it (or spend money in general because I'm really broke right now, especially since on the same day I also just paid some huge bucks for a certain something but that's a different story sooo lol), I watched Ant-Man and the Wasp yesterday with my good friend. I wasn't able to catch the first movie in theaters although I got to watch it when it premiered on TV. So I kinda just wanted to make up for that. Also, if you watched Avengers: Infinity War, we all know that Ant-Man was absent there. Gotta be curious as to where the heck he's been right? So yeah, all things considered, in the end I just told myself this would really be my last movie for now with my tight budget. Hahaha!

Well, what can I say? First off, it was a lot of fun to watch!!! We were like laughing the whole time! Scott Lang and his gang are hilarious! His daughter, Cassie, is such a cutie too! Then there's also the new characters, both protagonist and villain~ish alike, which made things more interesting.

[Official movie poster]

Okay so this movie is mainly about Hope (Wasp) and her dad's (Pym) journey to find the mother of the family (Janet) who was trapped in that microscopic quantum realm, where Scott (Ant-man) was once trapped as well. Meanwhile, Ava, the main villain~ish in this story, tries to steal the portable shrinking lab (laughs) where the tunnel to the quantum realm is located. She believes her illness can be cured by whatever is in that quantum realm.

This movie also explains why Ant-man was MIA (missing in action) during the chaos that is the Infinity War. Also, in mid-credits, we finally know what happened to Ant-man's side while all the other Avengers were in their quest to fight Thanos. All I can say is that I am speechless as usual. End of story. Haha. Y'all should check it out too and see for yourself! ;)

So to end this, here's a photo of me and my friend from yesterday's movie date. She's the same person as with my previous post about my first Kpop concert experience. Oh well, she's kinda like my movie/concert/travel buddy in one so yeah. :D

All right! I hope I haven't given too much of a spoiler there. But I'm not even sure if anyone's reading this right now. So if anyone, feel free to say hi or leave a comment if you happen to drop by and read this post. I don't bite lol. You may also follow me here on this blog site or in my other social media accounts on the right sidebar, as seen on the web version of this page.

Okay that's all for now. Peace out! x ;)

One K: My First Kpop Concert Experience (Recap)

Annyeong yeoreobun! Hello everyone!

So this might be a recap but since I'm just starting to post in here again, one thing I would like to share with you guys is my first-ever Kpop concert experience from last year. The show is called One K Global Peace Concert, held at the MOA Arena last March 2, 2017. It featured seven acts: SHINee, CNBlue, BTOB, B1A4, B.A.P, AOA, and PSY.

As a Shawol myself (SHINee fan), this was a very meaningful experience for me. For the first time, all five members were present in their visit here in the Philippines and I was there when it all happened! In their previous visits, they're always missing one member. So I was just really glad that they were complete for my first time seeing them. Little did I know that it would also be the last. Because in December of last year, the Kpop world was shook with the devastating news of Jonghyun's passing. But I don't really want to dwell on that now. I'm just happy that the remaining members are still together and renewed their contract. They recently released their three-part comeback album, "The Story of Light," and are currently promoting on music shows last time I checked. It's really nice seeing them perform again, although at times you'll just feel that something is not the same. T_T

Also, I don't know if I should call this good or bad news for me right now but the official PH fansite, SWPH, just recently teased us of a possible concert here soooooon! SWC finally happening in PH?? Omooooooo! Like, my #iponing is not yet ready. Ottoke?? I have another concert coming up this September and I will be going all out for it because it will be the last time for the group. They will disband in December this year. Sad that we can't do anything about it because they came from a reality show and won't be a permanent group. But will just talk about that another time. I think I've been going away too much from the main topic here. Mianhae. Haha!

So yeah, ONE K WAS LIT!!! I had so much fun on the show!! Not only did they perform their own songs but some of the groups' vocalists also did covers of Korean drama OSTs as well as the OPM song "Anak" by Freddie Aguilar! Daebak! Wow! Just wow! All the other groups and PSY were awesome as well!! We all wanted more but sadly all good things must come to an end.

Anyway, here's some of our pictures from the concert. I was with my chingu here, Carla unnie, who's a fellow Shawol. :)

All right, so to finish this off, here's one of my favorite performances from SHINee that I got to record. The song is called "An Encore."

Also, here's the encore performance of all artists at the end of the show. If you'll notice, the video was cut a bit. Since it's been a year, I don't quite remember if it's because my battery died or if my memory card got full. Haha. But  I really liked the song so I just resumed on recording. Up to now I'm still not sure of the song's title though. Is it One Korea? Anyone? :D

You may also visit this playlist on my Youtube channel for all other performances I was able to record from the show. It wasn't from the best seat but I hope you'll still like it. Until next time. Ciao! x ;)

Recap: DALIM3 Epic Experience ^_^

So it's been a week since the DALIM3 week and I just got to do this recap now just because we had our exams right after it. haha. Anyway, this is just my personal recap of the whole epic experience I had. It's really memorable for me even if it's just for the first two days of DALIM3 week that I was able to come to - Day 1, the arrival at the airport then the fans day at SM Megamall; and Day 2, the concert itself. But allow me to also post the rest of what happened in Day 3 and 4 of DALIM3 week just to show you the complete experience had I come too on those last two days before he left on July 21st. :))

Day 1 - July 17th, 2011
First day of DALIM3 week. Lots of things that happened to me this day for the first time. I had to travel alone from our province going to Manila. It's a little creepy because it's quite far from home and I'm not really used to going there by myself. But at the same time, of course it's exciting just to think what's to come later that day. When I got off the bus, I thought for a moment I was lost there. Good thing some fellow fans who are from the same province as I were there to the rescue. haha. And so, I got there at SM Megamall just in time to join the line for the purchase of TOSOD ATE CD and have it signed by David himself later.

I finally met all these fellow fans whom I first just got to know online. Felt really nice to finally meet them in person. We waited for a while there before we went to the airport - just to have some waiting again. haha. But it's cool because we were practicing how we would welcome David, either sing this or that song of him, shout his name, and many others. It was fun really! We ended up just screaming and if I remember right, you can't really understand a word - just pure, loud screams! lol. The only unfortunate thing that came next was that when he finally arrived, I didn't even see him! All the cars they used passed by so fast. But then I just thought, okay, I'll see him really close later at the mall so no worries. haha

The mall show started and they had some local artists to perform a few songs for us. At first I didn't like the idea just because that meant another waiting. They really sang nice though. One thing I also remember is that the group of fans I was with had this basket full of David's favorite Philippine mangoes, and someone asked me to help do a letter/message we'll put inside. Wow. haha. At first I didn't know how I'd do it and if David would really get to read it but I just thought, at least those words came from me if ever. Feels great! (I wanted to write a personal letter for him too beforehand but I just didn't really have enough time lol.) Then before we knew it, all the people around us suddenly rushed close to the stage and we were just there left at the back. We tried getting close as much as we can get too though. haha

The emcees had some games for us, giving away David stuff as prizes of course. A few more minutes, David finally showed up and I think I just killed my ears with all the screaming in the air. But it's all good! They asked him some questions and talked about what you'd expect they'd talk about. lol. Then he sang an a capella of "Stand By Me." Oh dear, it's the first-ever song I heard him sing live so you could imagine how stoked I was at the moment! Let alone he really nailed it! I managed to take some pics and also record a video of his performance but it's not that of good quality. Anyway, here's the full video I found on youtube. :)

After that performance, CD signing was next! We waited again for a while and when it's almost my turn, I would've had a picture with his dad Mr. Jeff Archuleta, if only I really wasn't an epic fail. I regret that I got a bit scared they'd say something because it's my turn already for the signing and there I was trying to have a pic with him. But it's okay. Maybe next time. On the bright side though, I finally met David face to face as he was signing my CD! He's truly a lot more mesmerizing in person. Those eyes! Those eyes! How could there be such beautiful eyes as those? haha. All I was able to say to him by the way was "Hello David!" Then there's his brilliant response "Hey!" And then nothing! Nothing! lol. I think I also got to say "You're awesome!" though I'm not sure he heard it because I just said it quietly. I was pretty much speechless really. But for the most part, I shook hands with him after he signed my CD! What a grip I'd say! His hand! His hand! I shook his hand for the first time. Oh gosh! lol. Here's a pic of my signed TOSOD ATE. :)

I chatted a bit with my co-Archies after that while trying to sink in what just happened. Then I finally got my ticket too for the concert tomorrow night. I asked a friend to help me buy it 'cause I'm having a little problem buying it in our place. But anyway, yay! It's really getting more and more real for me! I still can't believe it. A few minutes later, the CD signing was over and David left. What's funny was that a few minutes more again after that, we went to Edsa Shangri-La, the hotel where he'll be staying for this whole DALIM3 week. I didn't really expect we'd see him there though, and yes, we didn't. lol. But what I can't believe again was that David's front act, Julie Anne San Jose actually passed by me and a friend without even knowing it at the time. I just realized it when I saw some pics from the presscon to which they were both on it.

So I think that's pretty much everything that happened on this first day. I got home at about 1am already and yes, I got scolded a bit but it's all worth it. Tomorrow night will be a blast! :))

Day 2 - July 18th, 2011
So much anticipation for tonight's show but I still went to school during the day. I wish I just skipped our last two subjects so I wouldn't have been late for the concert. I didn't even really tell anyone what I was up to. I just casually said to my friends that I'll go home today by myself and won't be joining them - which is not a lie 'cause after school, I really went home first to change clothes and fix my things. I got on the bus at around 7pm already. Then I had to search for the venue when I got off because it's another new place for me. After asking some directions from the people there, I finally found it. Julie Anne's first song already started. But it's okay. At least it wasn't yet David, right? First things first. lol

So yeah, tonight has finally come! David's first major solo concert in Araneta Coliseum! I can't really explain in words what I felt when he finally came out and started singing, as well as the entire show. All I know is that I was screaming the whole time and singing along with every song, while at the same time trying to take some pics too (pics only, no vids lol). It was beyond amazing! Just see it for yourself on the vids below. Credit to etiamexspecto for all the awesome vids from the concert! Here's the full setlist:

There you go. This night's just so magical for me. I'm really grateful I got to experience it all while I'm still 18. I honestly thought that maybe by the time I'd finally see him, I'm already in my 20's... like 25 or something. lol. Anyway, I'm turning 19 a week from now so maybe you can call it an advanced birthday gift from above. God is so good really. He'll give it to you when you least expected it. :)

After the concert, some fellow Pinoy Archies and I went to KFC and ate. Had really fun conversations too in there that we didn't realize it's getting really late already. And when it's time to go, that's when I felt a bit sad thinking it's all over now for me. Tomorrow and the next day I won't be able to come anymore. But nah, I sure had a blast tonight and yesterday at the mall show! That's already a big thing for me. And then I just thought I'll see him again anyway next year for DALIM4! haha. Wishful thinking it is but you'll see, he'll come back again next year! :D

I got home at about 4am the next day because the bus we rode still waited for other passengers too, we were the first ones there. lol. Then you know what's next, of course I got scolded again. Big time. But I totally understand. It's my first time to go home late like that. So late. But what I was really worried about is that later that day we'll have two quizzes and they're so not easy. I barely took any sleep just to review. I guess that's the prize of all this but I'm willing to pay for it. It's not like it happens everyday, right? :D

So that's it. Below are some vids of what happened on Day 3 and 4 which as I said, I wasn't able to come to. I'm just living with the vids now but I'm totally okay with it. haha

7teenz Reunion (05-21-11)

This blog's supposed to be written last Saturday, May 21st, but since I can't help procrastinating, just got to write it now and it's already Monday, May 23rd. lol.

So anyway, my high school friends and I had a really cool reunion last Saturday. We are seven in the group but unfortunately, two weren't able to come. Sad but that's the only thing to be sad about; the rest was just pure bliss. I can't really tell every single thing that happened so I’ll just try summarizing it all.

First off were the warm greetings we'd give when someone finally arrives at our meeting place. You know those typical hugs and kisses when you see someone really close to you after quite a while? Yeah, like that.

We talked about lots and lots of stories both from our high school days, and our college life too so far. Two of us just graduated a two-year course this year and we’re really happy for 'em. One of those two even passed their board exams already. How awesome is that? They shared some of their plans and what they are soon to do next, having been the first to finish their schooling among the group. And then you'll just find one after the other talking about some kind of not really a whole lot of sense stuff but everyone would be happy to listen to. Oh, good times! I remember back in the day when we'd spend most of our time together just laughing and laughing about nothing, really. lol

After that, we wanted to watch a movie but figured there was nothing in there yet that we would like to watch that time so we just went to an amusement place where we played some arcade games and had some karaoke singing. Then we ate at McDonald's, our all time favorite food chain since high school. We took pictures of course. But after eating, we even had a group pic session at a real studio. We never had that last time so it's really cool to be able to do it now. Below are those studio photos. We had three poses. haha

(from top left: Marra, Evelyn, Gielen, Cheska, and me)

(from top left: Evelyn, Marra, Gielen, Cheska, and me)

(from left: Gielen, Cheska, Evelyn, me, and Marra)

So there, I guess that's pretty much it. We had some final goodbye hugs and kisses then we started parting ways again which was of course a little sad but we know there would always be next time, right? And I hope when that times comes, we’ll finally be complete again, all of us 7teenz. Yeah, that’s what we call our group by the way. What’ya think? :)

Random Recap of Meeeee ^_^

Just a quick update of how I've been and what I've been up to lately. So for the whole month of April, I did some reviewing for our qualifying exam for incoming 3rd year accountancy students like me in our school. It's quite a hard work but I still managed to have fun in between - by that I meant have fun online lol. When we finally took the exam last May 9th, it surely was a total nuts! I was sure I wasn't gonna pass it after I finished answering. But then I don't know what miracle was on work that on the results day the next Monday, May 16th, I did it! I passed! I'm still qualified in the accountancy program of our school! So I just really wanna thank God for that. I hope He knows how grateful I am I still got another shot. Ah, He knows for sure, doesn't He? heh:)

The next day I went to school again to pay for our entrance fee. Later, my mom helped me have a haircut at a salon. I'll have it undergo a relax treatment again but that will still be after June 1st because me and some friends are going for a swimming that day. I thought that might ruin it all if I'll have it done before that day so yeah, will just post a pic of it by that time. Then my mom bought me some stuff, which, I'm not sure if that's her treat for me having passed the exam lol. Mom's cool like that. But to be honest, if only I can really ask for a reward, there's only one thing I would ask for--some bucks for me to buy a concert ticket of my most favorite artist ever. He'll have a concert here in the country for the third time on July 18th. How cool is that? haha

Anyway, today I uploaded on youtube a recording of me singing my first-ever original song composition called "Once In My Life." I wrote it for a guy who, let's say was really special to me back then. Just thought I'd share it here too 'cause I really had fun doing it. Enjoy listening. :)

So that's all for now. Till then. :)
